Well. This well is called after the patron Saint of the Parish. It is very important well, and some skeletons were dug up near it, one being the remains of a priest. This well is neglected, as weed and grass are growing in and around it.
The Hefferran Sthrame as it was best known is a long stream flowing through fields and lye-roads dividing Lord Palmer's estate from Lord Howth's. A mound is seen near the stream and it is said that fairies were often seen dancing around the place.
