- Many strange happenings occurred in the town of Rush. About the year 1931 a fishing boat was lost off the coast of Loughshinny. One night as the crew were out fishing a storm arose. People from the village were out on the shore with red lamps to direct the fishermen but all was in vain.One night soon after the wreck when the people were searching for the lost fishermen a brother of one of them dreamt that his brother was lying under a certain rock along the shore.
