Mr Langan ran to the pier in 18 minutes. Teddy King ran to the ladies house 1 mile and back in 15 minutes.
Paddy White challenged Fagan from Dublin to Balbriggan 26 miles and White won in 2 hours.
Freddy Moran ran from Mr Mangans [?] down to the pier in 12 seconds.
Mr Follenus challenged Mr P Jones to a hundred yards race. Both men were over 65 years of age at the time. Mr Jones won the race by 2 yards.
Mr R White ran a race against a horse; the distance of which was 10 miles with 10 minutes start and the horse won.
John Leonard is a very fast man at running. He could run half a mile in five minutes and chase a hare for ten minutes.
Jim Jones was a very swift runner. He was able to run three miles in 20 minutes.
