- There are many kinds of local cures for sickness. One of them is for rheumatism. It is marsh mallows mixed with others ingredients. They are boiled to a jelly and are out into a box to harden like ointment. This is rubbed into the affected part. The marsh mallows is a tall plant with a purple flower on each if its stems.
