    My grandfather also named George Mc Candless was ploughing in a field along the road.

    that day. The man passed on without speaking. He had passed only a few seconds when the two horses which were ploughing for my grandfather fell to the ground. My grandfather was shocked. He followed the man, brought him back and made him bless the horses. Immediately the horses arose, shook themselves and then went on ploughing as if nothing had happened.
