About fifty years ago a man named Michael Burke cut a tree that was growing at the brink of it and it began to bleed and there was never any water in it after that. It is situated aout a hundred yards from the village of Cluide, Corrandulla, Co. Galway.
2. "Tobar an mhóinfhéir." It is situated in the village of Cahermorris, Corrandulla, Co. Galway. It is so called because it is situated in a meadow.- Collector
