- There is a fort in Thomas Glynn's land. It is called the "Liosín" It is in the townland of Killure Castle. There is a stone wall surrounding this fort.
Some years ago a man named Thomas Hibbet went to take away the stones round the fort and the horse saw something which frightened him and he ran away and broke his leg. It is said that it was the Danes that built it.
When people would be passing they often heard the fairies making bargains and dancing and singing.
