Many people who are subject to headaches are cured there. The person to be cured must go fifteen times around the well and say prayers to the Blessed Virgin. They also leave something after them.
Saint Colmcille's Well: So called because Colmcille passed there one time and he was very thirsty. When he was praying, a well sprang up and Saint Colmcille drank out of it. (The above mentioned well is situated in Boherduff, Clostoken, Loughrea.)
