- There are various kinds of churns such as machine churns, dash churns, etc. The churn which we have at home is one with a dash and is used once weekly in Winter time and twice or three times in Summer time.
Before the churning can be commenced the churn must be carefully rinsed and all the other things such as: the lid, dash etc. Just as the churning is commenced someone else shakes three drops on the lid of the churn.
