- In the olden times there was a price of £5 paid to anyone who would bring in the head of a priest.
There is a place up in Aill called Cloch an Aifrinn when a priest used to say Mass every Sunday. A large crowd came every Sunday to hear Mass. While it was going on someone would be out watching.
