   6) Any man who has six brothers older than himself can cure ring worm by leaving his hand on the ring worm.

   7) Any person who has a stye in his eye can be cured by getting nine gooseberry thorns and making the sign of the cross on his eyes with them on Monday or Thursday.

   In a village called Ballinlass there is a lough called 'Lougheen na Coillre' in which you can cure warts or conditions if you go to this lough before sunrise and wash the wart in the water. The water will rot the wart and it will fall off after a time. The lough is still there. Another cure for a wart is if you were milking and to milk a little new milk onto the wart for eleven days. The wart will fall off.
