The shops that were near the sea had sacks of flour, bran, oats and other things and they were all destroyed. The storm was furious and the people were in great dread. Umbrellas were turned inside out with the strength of the storm. The little boats were dashed ashore as a result of the terrible storm. There is nothing as fierce as a terrible storm.Patrick Leary
