They are marked by means of mud and by clipping the hair of the side and with red marks.When an animal is sold the usual custom is to retain the halter or rope. The chief fairs which are held annually are the 18th of May and the 17th of October. On this fair days most of the farmers sell all the animals. There are special fairs held during the year for bonhams, horses and sheep. Hills were used long ago as sites for fairs. Markets are also held.
