for a few times, it would be cured of the cough.
A wart is a common skin trouble, and are generally known to appear on the hands and feet. This is a common remedy for it. The person on whom it appears should steal a piece of bacon from a neighbouring house. The bacon should be rubbed to the wart three times, and then buried in the manure heap. While the bacon would be rotting, the wart would be fading until finally there would be no trace of it.
