  1. 1. People always say that Wednesday is a very lucky day for getting married. If a family was changing from one house to another they would never bring a cat with them.
    2. The blacksmith never drives a nail in a horses foot on a Friday because it was on Friday Our Lord was nailed to the cross. People always chance into a new house on a Friday.
    3. The first week in April is called "cows" "week". When March was over the old cow said to herself that all the cold was gone. April borrowed nine days from March and as it was very cld the old cow died
    4. On Whit Monday people do not work horses. Some people do not go to swim until Whit Sunday
