  1. 1. There was a man going to a fair walking. As he was passing a wood he went in over the wall to cut a stick in the wood to help him walk.
    2. He was pairing the stick going along the road, when some people carried to the fair in their motor car. One man said to him "Oh Pat your hands are all blood.
    3. The man didn't notice his hands until then. He got down to wash his hands then, but he could not wash off the blood. He came back to the man again. They didn't say anything to him when he came back
    4. The bell was ringing for six o'clock Mass. He went to Mass and he was before the time. He went out round the chapelyard and he met the Priest going in to read Mass
    5. The priest asked him what happened his hands and he told him that he cut a stick in this wood. The Priest took the stick from him and told him that it was the
