    (q) Monaghan's Garden: so called because there were people by the name of Monaghan living there.
    (r) Black Park. (Pāirc Dubh): so called because of the moory nature of the soil.
    (s) Pāirc Gairid: which means a short field.
    (t) Meadow.
    (u) Páirc Wee. which means a small field. or Páirc Buidhe = yellow field.
    (v) Pallas Field: it is a field near Pallas.
    (w) Pāirc Bhán: which means a white field.
    (x) Páirc na Móna: which means a turf-field.
    (y) Druim na Bhídh: it means a field of food.
