    A little red man sitting on the wall. He drinks all he gets but eats none at all.
    Answer. A Lamp.
    In walks two legs, sits on three legs, takes out one leg, In comes four legs, snaps up one leg. Up stands two legs, takes up three legs. Knocks down four legs and takes his own leg back.
    Answer. A man coming home from the fair; he sits on a stool and takes out a leg of beef. The dog comes in and snaps the leg of beef. The man stands up, takes up the stool, throws it at the dog, knocks him and takes the leg of beef back.
    Round the house and round the house and never touches the house
    Answer. Music.
    What tool am I that joiners use?
    Now who can find my name?
    From front to back and back to front
    Each way I spell the same.
    Five letters go to form my name
    Of which the centre three
    Makes up a girl's name as you'll find
    When you discover me.
    Answer: A Level
    Two dead men fighting two blind men looking. A cripple running for the priest and a dummy telling him to hurry on.
    Answer: A lie.
    A man went to hunt on Friday. He stayed two days away and came back on the same Friday. How could that be?
