(continued from previous page)He gave the apples to his father and they near killed him. The other brothers then gave him their apples and he drest himself and got up. Next day they threw the boy that had the bad apples out in the kennel and let the dogs eat him but he had the wand and he struck the dogs with it and killed them but the next day the woman whom he had stolen the whiskey, the butter and the loaf from came to the boy's father and asked him where was the boy and he said they had thrown him into the kennel and the dogs had killed him. "Well dead or not of him" said the woman "get him for me" so they went out in the kennel and the boy was there and he eating loaves and everything and she brought him and married him and they lived happy, for the rest of their lives- Collector
