In Cnoc an Dub there is a bush one side of a graveyard. One night a voice came to a man in Knockbrack and told him to go to the graveyard and dig under that bush and that he would get a pot of gold. The man got up, dressed himself and got a spade and went to the graveyard. He dug up the clay from under the tree and when he dug half way down the clay a big cat came up and the man got afraid and he ran away. On looking back he saw the cat after him and he started roaring and after a while the cat turned back to his place again.
