- There was a man one time who went into a shop to purchase a hat. The shop boy took down all the hats in the shop but they were all too big for his customer. "Give me the smallest hat in the shop" said the man. He got it but even it was too big. "I have a very small head" said the man. "Ah!" said the shop boy "you have no head at all. It is only a pimple yet. But I will tell you what to do. Go home and put a poultice to it and it might come to a head."
