- The swallow builds her nest in the roof of a slated house. When they fly high it is supposed to be a sign of good weather and when they fly low it is a sign of bad weather. In winter they go to far off lands. Their nest is made of mud and hay. Inside their nest they put feathers.
The robin builds its nest in a ditch. When it is raining and you see a robin on the highest branch of a tree, it is a sign that it is going to stop raining. The robin must be singing. If the robin is not there it will not stop raining.- Collector
