    could lay eyes or hands upon it; after long searching they forsook the task and continued their homeward journey. Next day the driver went to the place where they searched for the whip and there he found it without difficulty. He firmly believes that the "Good People" wanted it and when they had finished using it they left it back in field again and that he would never have found it if he had had remained searching that first day.
