  1. The local lord was Johnston. They are still living in the village of Kinlough in the Co Leitrim. They evicted no families. They were looked upon as very good and kind land-lords. They did not ask any poor tenants to pay the rent if they were not able to do so. The land was divided into farms under his guidance. This land lord did ask the people to come to his house but instead he used to come to the little village of Drumkeeran to get the rent.
