Greaghnafarna borders Cornamuckla North, Cultha, Lurgandill, Derrinawillan, Urbal-bar and Derrinageer.
Greaghnafarna is all levated ground. Thee is a holy well in this townland called St. Bridewell" A man named Mr Paddy McHugh owns the field in whcih it is.
There is also an old school in Greachnafarna. The runs are to be seen there yet. A woman named Mrs Early taught in it about sixty years ago.
There are tow forts on this townland A man named Mr James Mc GOurty owns the land.
About fifty years ago, there was a man passing by one of these forts, and e saw a black small man running up a telegraph pole It is also said that lights have been seen in this fort.
There was also a corn mill in Greaghnafarna. A man named Mr. Jimme Creamer owned it.
There is no trace of it. All the houses are thatched except three which are slated
