SRAITHÍN a' PHUNTAThis is a field along the Yellow River. It means the holm-land of the pound. Cattle were pounded there during the time of the Great Famine. The people used to catch the cattle and they used to bleed them. Then they used to boil the blood and eat it. This is in Francis McGreal's land.

MULLACH RAITHNÍNThis is a little hill in Pat McPartlan's land in Slievenakilla.
CARRAIG na LOCHÁNStream is in the townland of Slievenakilla. There is a rock beside a lake there. The lake is called Loch na mBreach. The stream runs out from the lake.(continues on next page)
