  1. I. A pain in a tooth with a hole in it.
    Mix a pinch of pepper with a small bit of soot. Place this on the tooth. Soften a bit of tallow and place it over the tooth.
    Corns: -
    Mix bread soda and lamp oil and then rub it over your corns.
    A Headache: -
    Get the white of an egg, and spread it on a cloth and put it up to your forehead.
    A bad pain in your stomach: -
    Get a glass of Brandy and bathe your feet in Mustard water and go to bed quickly.
    A pain in your ear: -
    Boil a drop of castor oil, and soak a bit of wadding in it and put it into your ear.
    Calves having the white scour: -
