- Burns: -
To take a lizard and lick his stomach and then lick a burn with your tongue. This was a cure for the burn.
Warts: -
(1) If a person was walking and if he saw a stone holding water, and dip his warts in the water, and then make the sign of the cross on the warts, this was a cure for warts.
(2) If you chanced to see a piece of meat in a house take a nip of it. Rub it then to the wart, and bury it in the dung-pit at the back of the house. Think no more of it, and then the wart will disappear.
Corns: -
Get a horse's capall and bruise the stuff out of it on the corn and it will cure it.- Collector
