    her what was wrong. She said she killed a child and missed Mass. The priest took out his book and she disappeared. It was said that she was never seen again.
    Once the only son of a poor widow was very sick, and was attended by the local doctor. There was no result. A neighbour told her to consult the priest who was supposed to cure people. She did so and the priest told her to make a novena for him. "Yerra Father" says she "I made that for him last Saturday and he wouldn't taste it for me".
