- The two oldest roads running through my native townland Knockmeal and the adjoining townlands are the "Coolaneelig" road and the "Corkline" The Coolaneelig road runs in two different directions or branches; one branch runs through Coolaneelig and Moynsha. One leads from the main road between Listowel and Abbeyfeale, to the road running through Grauge; while the other branch runs through Knockmeal into the Corkline.
