Near the little village of Monivea about 105 years ago in the year 1833 lived a gentleman named Sir Andrew Fitzmaurice. Though his father at his death had made him his sole heir still owing to misfortune he was unable to keep his mansion in the same state as it was before his father's death. In a certain room in the bastle stood an old fashioned writing desk the lock of which could never be opened. Several times did Sir Andrew's servants attempt to open it but as it was lined with iron on the inside it was impossible to open it.- Collector
