    cure for a sore throat.
    The best cure is to place “cac asail”
    in a stocking and wear it around the
    neck.
    It is said that if a cobweb was
    placed on a bleeding wound it would
    stop the blood.
    If by accident you come

    and if suffering from warts dip them
    in it and it will cure them.
    Another cure for warts is to (cunt)
    count them when you see a new moon.
    Boils are cured by putting
    an duilleóg Pádraigh with them.
    The roots of the “crádán” boiled in
    milk and taking on fifteen successive days
    will cure boils also.
    A fox’s tongue steeped
    in hot water will draw out a thorn
    within twenty four hours.
    The sting of wasp is a good
    cure for rheumatism.
