    “Fiabhras coibhideac” are cured by having their
    heads measured by a weaver with his thread.
    A sprained ankle is also cured by
    having the ankles and tow measured by a
    weaver with his thread.
    A fist of oat-meal
    and salt is good for the “féar gorta”.
    The juice of worms boiled is supposed
    to cure the yellow jaundice and the
    chin cough.
    Paraffin oil and salt is also
    good for rheumatism.
    A slice of a raw potato
    will cure a corn.
