    owned by Admiral Rowley known as Bonnebeg, Mohill. Tradition tells us the Lawders were the owners of that part of the village for over ninety years. He reserved timber, fishing and game rights over his property. He died about 1925. For at least four years, before his death the tenants paid him no rent and their grievances were that the houses were in bad repair, and asked for repair. Finally he sold his interest to the tenants who are now the praprietors.

    He lived at Granard and owned the lands of Kiltoghert. He was a just and fair man.
