  1. A cure for a cold: Boil buttermilk and garlic. Drink it.
    There is a holy well, near Kiltoghert graveyard. The water from that well, a piece of clay, from Father John Mc Keon's grave will cure a toothache.
    If you catch some of the first rain that falls in May, it will cure a hiccough.
    To stop bleeding, get 3 leaves of 3 different trees and apply it, making the sign of the cross. The bleeding will stop.
    Boil flax-seed, in water. Strain it. Put down again, with sugar o'candy, lemon juice and reboil.
