- In the village of Drumsna a man named Mr Thomas Daly was a great handballer and carried many championships and prizes in various parts of the country even as far as Limerick city. Mr Daly was also partnered by Mr William Dalrymple familiarly known as Wille Dal., who lived in the house now occupied by Miss McBride. On the locall ballcourts those great athletes never saw defeat although tested by many such as Willie Murphy of Gorbagh and Paddy Reynolds of Carton Kilmore, and also(continues on next page)
