    will lose his life at the getting of it. There are about fifty people in the downland and there are none of the same name except Lenehan. There is a big river which separates Gorlaugh and Liscallyrone. There are no people in the downland that are over seventy except Mrs Lenehan, who is over eighty. She has a lot of stories about fairies and several other things. There are four slated houses in my downland and eight thatched. None of the aged people in my downland can speak Irish.
