- Dandelion roots are good for a weak heart when it is boiled and the juice taken the next day and if you like you can put it in bottles.A nettle is good for the blood when it is boiled. Marshmallows are very good for stiffness in the bones. It is steeped for about an hour or two.Comfery is good for the lungs especially when taken from the roots and eaten as it is pulled. Slanlus when cut up and mixed with cream is good for cuts and burns. The roots of daisies are very good when cooked in milk for the chest and stomach.
