- Barrel Making
Composition of James Browne ClooneeThere is a cooper in Mohill Water Streets named John Brady. He makes barrells and churns and repares old ones. The boards on the side of the barrels are called staves. There is a gruve on the bottom (inside) of the staves to hold the bottom. Hoops are put round the barrel to keep it together.
These Hoops are joined with rivets.- Collector
