    Whooping cough.
    There are many cures for the whooping cough. One is as follows, the child must be put under an ass foal that was never ridden before, three times in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
    Another cure for whooping cough is, a ferret gets milk to drink and the leavings is given to the child to drink who is suffering from the whooping cough.
    The following is another cure for whooping cough, a few hairs are taken from a girl's head that has never seen her father, then the hair is boiled with milk. It is them strained and given to the child to drink.
    Worms.
    The cure for worms can be made only on a Monday and Thursday. The person who is making the cure cuts three sods of grass before the sun is rising. The child who is suffering from this disease smells the three sods for three mornings fasting. Certain prayers are repeated. At the end of this time the child is supposed to
