    well on three different occasions, on Monday, Thursday, and Monday. They have to say certain prayers, in honour of the Saint to which the well belongs. They have also to leave some offering. These offerings vary. Sometimes they leave a button, or a pen. The bush over the well is covered with strips of cloth, that are left as offerings.
    Near this well there is a stone, on which St. Patrick knelt while he was praying. The track of his knee is still seen in the stone.
