    In this locality the people say that there will be rain when the sut falls down the chimney frequently.
    When the bad weather is coming the old people's limbs begin to ache.
    If the fog rises up early in the morning it is a sign of good weather.
    When the hills are far away it is a sign of good weather.
    When the smoke goes up strait in the sky it will soon rain.
    If the new moon shows itself too soon it will soon rain.
    When the bushes can be seen in the loughs, and rivers it is a sign of rain.
    When the south west winds blow they bring most rain.
    If the cat sat with her back to the fire it was a sign of storm.
    The crickets chirruping is a sign of storm.
