  1. About forty years ago, a man named John Dolan lived in the townland of Drumkeelvy.
    One night as he and his wife lay in bed they heard a cock crowing on the window sill. "Get up John" she said, there must be something wrong outside. "Not at all he replied" getting up to hunt away the cock.
    When he went back to bed the cock crew again. This time the man went out and about half a mile away he got one of his cows in a ditch.
