There are certain people living in my district who make the cure of the jaundice with herbs. They gather these herbs which are to be found growing on bog holes or on the shores of lakes. The herb has a smooth shiny leaf. These leaves are stewed in water and strained. It is then given to the patient fasting for three mornings.
