    The fish was weighed and made forty-two pounds and the Parson paid Thady seven shillings. Some weeks after when the Parson was out driving he met Thady again and addressed him as follows : -
    "Ara Thady ! did you kill any pike since".
    "Ah ! By jero ! no your Reverence. There's bad take since or they must be all gone with the flood."
    "Tell me Thady ! what do pikes live on" "Well ! By jero ! I always heard sometimes on grass and sometimes on moss".
