    to the church and just at mid-night the priest came on the altar and called three times if there was anyone to serve mass but he got no answer and disappeared again. The man met Father Cawley the next day and he told him all about it so he said he would accompany him to the church that night. So the two went to the church and at mid-night the priest came on the altar and asked if there was anyone to serve mass but got no answer. He called again and got no answer. He called the third time and Fr. Cawley stood up and said “Yes! there is. I’ll serve it for you.” So up he went and lit the candles and the priest went in and put on his vestments and came on the altar and said mass.
    When mass was over the priest said: “ I’m coming here this twenty years and I did not get anyone to serve mass for me as I had one mass to say before I died and now I can go straight to heaven for this mass has me out of heaven this twenty years.” So then
