    There is a story by an old man that there was a silver mine in Mr. Broderick's field in Beencuneen down near the cliff.
    It is called Gleannairg because pieces of silver were supposed to be found there by a man named John Leahy and several others.
    A bull is supposed to be a safe guard over it.
    Mr. Gunn the Landlord then living in Rattoo brought an Engineer to see it and he examined it and the
