    With a wooden hammer or mallet to separate fibers from the fine stuff inside.
    Then it was cloven with a closing tongs and made into rolls fitting to be spun ito thread with a machine called a spinning wheel.
    The thread was wound up into balls and carried to the weaver to be woven.
    The weaver made it into long skins by means of four sticks on the wall preparing it for the loom.
    The loom was a very simple machine made up with simple sticks one big stick on which the thread was rolled round
