Rev. Father Florry Mc Carty the Parish Priest of Ballyheigue at this time and they told him all about it. The priest said to them to come to him the next day his sons and himself.
They did so and the priest read Mass, and told them that he would never again enter their land and the next place he would be seen would be outside the cliff ditch and he was seen several times there afterwards.
This was told to me by Mrs Higgins who lives in Glenderry and who is a member of the Cantillon family and is fifty years of age.
