    name was Domnic. He was a great robber. There was no train at the time. People walked on foot. This man used kill them and rob them. He used to live in a dug-out and the door he had for it was a bush. When he would get in he put a bush in the door.
    They tried to catch him and they could not. One day they surrounded him and they could not catch him, he was such a strong man. They had to dig a hole in the field which is to be seen at present. He was taken to prison and afterwards hung. He told them where his gold was before he was hung.
    "Between two Maums, Between two hills. Between two glens and in a three cornered field I hid it." It was never found. There is a well in the spot where he was caught and it is called Poll a' 'Mhinic.
